The exhibition is on from 27 January — 15 April 2018. Unlikely to go to exhibition and doubt if they will have another like it. This is must watch.

This was fantastic.
You can see it on BBC iPlayer if you missed it.
It shines a completely new light on Charles 1 a sensitive art loving man .
It also says why he must have infuriated people like Oliver Cromwell spending vast amounts of money raised by taxes on these fabulous art works .
I a man going to try and see the exhibition .

This programme was amazing, only wish I could get to London to the exhibition. I hadn't heard anything about it, only stumbled on the programme by chance. Luckily I recorded it 'cos I'll probably watch it again.

Watched again on iplayer, and the ceiling of the Banqueting House is something to behold, doubt you would be allowed to lie on the floor as the presenter did. The portrait of his children by Van Dyck was a favourite, intimate and natural.

I wish I could see it. The link looks fantastic! Such beautiful pieces.

I loathe what Cromwell and the iconoclastic regicides did.
