Seems to me that many people are firefighting in their daily lives and have just forgotten common decency. Attitudes like this spread and soon everyone becomes nastier. It's like the blind guy who was asked to move his dog on the escalator recently. Maybe the culture of distraction is taking away bits of our brains so people don't realise what they are doing any more.....

The writer is going to be prosecuted at least it said that on the news earlier I was reading about it on twitter, someone said the woman probably wrote van because she couldn't spell ambulance. That's probably very true poorly educated selfish ignorance... its a worry.19-02-2018, 07:21 PM

I am sure I read something similar a month or two back Julie.It sounds to me a similar to road rage but without the car.
I am not sure society is getting more selfish - I think it has always been so. Difference now is that we have the media who can reach a lot of people very quickly, so we have probably become more aware of the outrageously selfish things people do.
If possible, I think this person should be prosecuted and should spend some community service attached to the ambulance service - on the front line. She would probably get a very rude awakening.
