Got some cooked hash browns in Sainsbury’s yesterday, so today will have them with bacon, egg and beans, and might do a sausage and a tomato. I’ll see.

*Cue UJ galloping in with ‘where’s the mushrooms, black pudding, doorstep soda bread?!!!!’*. In the supermarket, UJ, where they belong!

Brocolli and Stilton soup

Also I see a pack of bacon has arrived in the fridge meaning my husband my vegetarian husband fancies a bacon sandwich so I'll do him one of them. I'm not sure he is taking this vegetarian lifestyle quite as seriously as me

Sausages are quite nice the Rosemary ones in the Linda macartney range. Bacon only if you like flavoured cardboard. Even then I doubt anyone actually likes it.

Made a chicken casserole for lunch today, and for tea, had some Brie cheese on Carr's melts all washed down with a glass of Port.
