Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Just back from Hay, just in time to avoid the rain. Haircut and eye test. Have just discovered that I've had these glasses since 2010!!! No wonder they're dropping hints in the Opticians about buying new frames.

If your prescription stays the same and you're happy with your frames, don't give in and you can save your money.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Funny old day here. Sun is out at the moment but its windy with black clouds coming over
The fire alarm went off at 6.30am and I had to go down to the foyer because I know what to check and I can turn the horrible noise off . There were lots of holidaymakers milling around in their PJ's and luckily it was a false alarm .I got back into bed but didn't really sleep so I'll be knackered later

Same sort of day here too Jac. Went to a funeral this afternoon with my boys. So many people that we stood outside, along with a couple of hundred others! At one point I thought I would pass out with the heat and had to take my jacket off, few minutes later cold wind so put it back on again. Have just put a cake in the oven for the tea that we are preparing tomorrow for the hardy souls who do a walk over the hills in memory of Rev. Kilvert. Do you know who he is? Google him.

It a blustery day here with sunshine and showers.
the beach looks awful , the high tide has spread seaweed all over it . I've never seen it so bad ,don't know what the holiday-makers are making of it
Never heard of the Rev Sue , will Google later

Hello Doc, nice to see you.
I've just come back from my B12 inj. Sunny when I left and then it bucketed down . Eased off as I got home so didn't get wet
Lovely rainbows in the sky last evening, haven't seen one for ages
