A great start for Wales.

Euro 2016: England and Russia given disqualification warning - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36510550

Uefa has threatened to disqualify England and Russia from Euro 2016 if there is any further violence by fans.It has begun disciplinary proceedings against Russia - but not England - after "totally unacceptable" scenes at Saturday's England-Russia game.

Totally ridiculous to threaten England.......don't UEFA watch the same footage as the rest of the World?

Or are UEFA trying to push/share the blame to distract attention from the farce that Nom highlighted.

Re: Football fans in Marseille

How did the Russians manage to get flare guns in? in view of the Paris attacks they could have had guns, but these guns can cause enough mayhem.
they also came with fist protectors etc. so seems they came prepared

The flares are plastic so metal detection devices won't detect them.

Sniffer dogs should be present but how many would they need?

It would seem security at the stadiums is lacking.
