My Fave Dozen of 2017
Ok - picking 12 was tough as always. Here are my dozen favourite shots of 2017.

1. Blencathra - my favourite Lakeland mountain. I’ve every way up and down this over the years and there are many!
2. St Ives Smock salesman. Really enjoyed chatting to this gent and it’s a good example of just how versatile the little Fuji X100F is.
3. Ullswater. I do like a tree - and a reflection.
4. Stalking Squirrels. Lovely Fox at Pennington Flash. He missed
5.Sir Ian McKellen. A great guy and a pleasure to work with. And a good example of how good the Fuji X-Pro2 and 50-140mm is in low light.
6. Gold Spot Moth. A nice find whilst looking for Black Darters at Risley Moss.
7. The Graduate. Proud Dad moment as The Oyling graduates with the PHD from Oxford.
8. Black 5 at Summerseat. Well there HAD to be a train or two!
9. First of the last four from a fab trip to Scotland in March. The Jacobite crossing Glenfinnan Viaduct. Harry Potter box ticked
10. One from a superb hour around sunset overlooking the Isles of Eigg and Rum from Rhumac near Arasaig.
11. Had to include a film shot. Gorse and mountains on Skye. Fuji GW690 and Kodak Portra160.
12. And last but not least that done to death and don’t care waterfall at Glencoe with the Buachaille Etive Mor backdrop.
