Zero hours contracts.

Well, well, well, if one country can manage to abolish zero hours contracts, then surely the UK government can do likewise???

Good for them. In effect I worked zero hours when I was contracting big I did get far more money than the permanent staff. I had about 15 years of it not through choice though.

I think they can work well for some people but I would like to see them abolished too as they are harming more than they help.

Poor chap in our flats was put onto zero hours contract when his company was taken over, he is averaging about 12 hours a week and can't get any benefits he and his wife are beside themselves with worry over it all.
