Our various postmen here wear their shorts all through the winter, whatever the weather ..... they don't even wear long socks to keep their little legs warm

Meg, l have seen men in shorts in town centres and in supermarkets!
I think, postmen started the trend when they were issued with shorts for the summer but they continued wearing them into the next seasons!!
