Re: Does it own you ? or do you own it ?

I haven't used my mobile phone in the last three months. I only had it for emergencies when out driving and since I no longer drive any distance, I dont use it. In fact I rarely use my landline either.

Do you answer the phone or text someone ...
If phone rings during a meal yes I answer it as I said it's usually a problem or emergency. Texts can wait actual phone calls can't.

Hi

I can't even do that Art, I do not even know my mobile number.

It is usually in a pocket somewhere.

When I used to work .. my co workers thought one of our lead hands had
his cell phone glue to his ear ...
You never seen this man with out ...
Most of the calls were not work related ..

I might have it somewhere if you haven’t changed your mobile number?

It’s 1234567891011

Julie that is understandable ...

The phone can be a great thing when used probably ...

I was at a funeral parlor .. when someone phone went off ...
It must have been the man's wife .. he responded saying
yes I will pick up the loaf of bread , milk and so on ..
He was just approaching the salon were the coffin was...

Rather more worrying is if the mobile 'phone is actually inside the coffin, starts ringing and is answered!!!

Mr Ploppy .. you do know, first you have to give your number to someone .. in order for them to call you ...
I am sure you are wanted by someone dead or alive ...

Re: Does it own you ? or do you own it ?

Mine is just a phone, handy for ringing if I want my Daughter to fetch me or if at a car boot to see where she is etc. I also text or ring a friend on it. I don't use it for playing games or the internet & I am on PAYT, so I just top it up when I need to, it is not the be all end all of my existence. Not like my Daughters, she is on hers most of the time.
