Jamie Oliver

What do you think about Jamie Oliver having to close down six of his restaurants?

Personally I don't like him and I don't particularly like the meals he cooks.

But what are your views?

Re: Jamie Oliver

It's a bit off blaming brexit though, from what I hear it's more a case of overpriced poor quality grub and indifferent service.

Re: Jamie Oliver

He tends to rent places without doing any research, places dead in the evenings assuming his name alone will draw in the victims whoop customers over prices his rather ordinary food and has surly staff because he pays them so badly. Not a good business man IMO

Re: Jamie Oliver

I have watched JO cooking and think he is too 'slapdash for me though some of recipes are ok and I like the way he trained up a number of 'no hope' youngsters to work in catering .

As to the restaurant closures, I think he was able to cash in on his TV programmes and books but food tases change and he is no longer 'fashionable'.
