Julie my very best wishes for your chemo treatment, I underwent IV chemo last year, so know what you are going through. A mention has been made of ginger, I used to chew crystalised ginger for queasiness. You will get the very best care by the Oncology staff, mine were lovely. Julie I would think you will be on the 3 weekly IV chemo. I found the the first 10-12 days were the worse for side effects then you start to feel better for the last week or so, till you have to go back for another session.Re: Bad news / good news
Hi, Julie. I have been wondering about you too. It's positive news that you are already getting on with this round of treatment, and I hope that there is no nausea, but if so, you might ask your physician about Ondansetron. This is an anti-nausea medication often given in tandem with chemotherabpy, and was prescribed when my daughter went through a course of chemo last year.
