And the point of the post is? I thought you might have added a further comment. I mean I could put up a snap of my two settees and say, my settee, a two seater and a three seater, I would have been interested to read which you prefer, and the role each camera has.

The point is this is a Photos and Art section. So why not photos of cameras and lenses?
You could well ask in the same question why a picture of flowers? instead of flower it is camera and lenses

Re: Nikon cameras on parade

As to which camera lens combo to use depends on the situation.
So first choice now is the D810 being the latest to have with the D800 as a backup.
However the D300 being a crop frame sensor the DX lens is first choice.

Why keep them all?
dust on sensor protection. If for example I want to use the 80-400 lens and the 24-70 lens in a dusty situation then one lens on each camera and no lens swaps on one camera

For video unobtrusive work the camcorder comes into its own being small and easily hidden in a trouser pocket.

Each has a purpose

Are the 800’s full frame?
I like the idea of being able to swap quickly from one camera to another without swapping lens..one day when I’m rich ...
