Used to work with film cameras before that.
wasn't long before I discovered that cameras limitations so bougth a Nikon D70s until I felt it was time to upgrade. Went to the Nikon D200 but tghat wasbattey heavy so upgraded to the D300 and then the d800 and now the D810 the last three in the photo

Yes but only the monochrome. Colour is too fiddly and so goes off to the lab.

for me Digital everytime, no more dunking film into trays in the dark with a red light on and having to block light on certain areas of the developing film. Worst when "er indoors" wants to use the room in the house

Still got my Voitlander VIto CL that was my 21st birthday present back in 1966 and looks as good a new

That's printing not developing though. I develop in the kitchen in daylight (using a change bag). Then scan the negs using an Epson V550.

I've had the 14-24mm and liked it - but now use the 16-35mm F4 instead. The loss of a stop of light is more than made up for by the VR, and it takes filters easily which the 14-24mm doesn't.

D 800's used are rapidly coming down in price a good used one with low shutter count on ebay is about £800 from Japan just looked.

I paid £1929.95 back in May2013 for my D800

not given that much thought about it at the moment but well worth knowing
