Well reading this thread has persuaded me to watch it, usually I cannot abide the woman but I will give it a go.

I have mixed feelings about Miriam Margoyles, but I thought she was excellent in this programme and I shall enjoy watching future episodes. I just wish she would modify her farting and appearance a bit. I think she does it to shock and maybe I should relax a bit about her offbeat displays. She is a very good actress.

I too do not particularly like her, but felt she redeemed herself a bit in this programme and will watch the others. What I fail to understand was why she kept telling people she was a Jew, but had no religion. It would be like me saying that I am a Christian, when I am an atheist.

I've watched it now looking forward to next episode, I've always been a bit of a fan, course she may be but she's never afraid to be herself. I felt sorry for her all dressed up I know that feeling of makeup if you aren't used to it feeling horrible, I always feel dirty with it on my face hence I never wear it.

She is a compassionate woman cares for people very much, more Miriam's we might have a nicer world, smellier with the farting but kinder.

Luckily there wasn't too much farting, just that big one at the start of the programme.

The rest of the programme was hilarious, but the stories she told were beyond vulgar...and a fellow guest walked off!
Maybe he was joking, but when he returned to the sofa his body language said it all, he visibly shifted away from her!!
