I've tried listening to the archers when driving my regular 45 min journey to daughter's but oh dear I found it so boring so no it's not for me . I do listen to radio 4 at other times and enjoy it . I also don't like the archers introduction music .

I listen to The Navy Lark, Round the Horne, The Men from the Ministry and Hancocks Half Hour all on iPlayer .It always reminds me of Sundays at home lunchtime with Family Favourites on, Mum cremating the the roast beef, Dad didnt like it unless it was over cooked, no pink meat for him. Potato veg and home made gravy.
I do listen to modern comedy as well though but only if some guy called Neville Chamberlain is on the news holding in his hand a piece of paper.
