As Tessa says, we are leaving the EU and should be looking after ourselves so rather than giving France more money, we should be stopping it completely and putting our own controls in place. After all, France's efforts didn't work too well.17-01-2018, 11:40 AM

HiNo Country is under any obligation to stop people leaving.
It is our responsibility to stop people entering and enforce our own Border.
We are absolutely rubbish at this and Theresa May has been responsible for huge cuts when she was Home Secretary.
We also have the right, as members of the EU, so send those we catch here back to France.
Theresa May has consistently refused point blank to do this.
