Red Headed Woodpecker. I got home yesterday from 35 days in hospitals. Except for extremely short winded I feel fine. My Mom died last Friday night in her home in Florida and we had a memorial service for her today with burial next to Dad, today. Will have more photos soon.

Re: Birds

We have lots of young Starlings in the garden, it seems they have had a population explosion this year.

Re: Birds

So sorry to read about the loss of your Mum, I hope you yourself are on the road to recovery.

What a fabulous picture of the Woodpecker, stunning,
we too have lots of starlings in, we have about 14 different bird species in every day but rarely the Woodpecker.

Gold Finches at the feeder for them in the back corner of the yard. Hard to get closer to them. Always a bunch of them there though.
