Thank you America for exposing the German car industry. VW along with Daimler, BMW and Bosch have apparently financed not only tests on animals but also on humans. It came out yesterday that the government also lied about having knowledge about the tests. At the same time as Merkels spokesperson denied the government having knowledge of the tests her enviroment minister said they asked Daimler in 2014 if they were involved in such tests. Daimler said no which probably isn't a lie but the documents from the US state they were all financing the tests in 2011. The tests on humans were done at the university in Aachen Germany. It stated the that 25 healthy people were exposed to diesel exhaust fumes in laboratory tests. It didn't say whether they were healthy after.
