what the news today and

It seems the other EEC countries are having a meeting and problems are arising out of us leaving the EEC

First squabbling about who is going occupy the seats in the European parliament when we leave

Next
Countries like France and Germany are refusing to make up the financial loss when we no longer contribute

Other countries that grab are refusing to except taking a lower handout

Is this going to be the start of the breakup of the EEC ?

Remember that it is Germany-France and the UK that contribute the most

It would be nice to think so but I doubt it, too many Eurocrats are doing nicely out of the EU and won't want
it to come to an end.

It's taken them a very long time to realise that we meant it when we voted OUT!

(Where "we" doesn't include everyone here!)

Interestingly the EU is likely to appoint Martin Selmayr to be the man with "Total Power" in the EU.

Of course, he is a non elected tiger put in by Juncker.

Mustn't let democracy get in the way!!

Re: what the news today and

They're falling out in Germany too.

Mrs Merkel stormed out of the German Parliament yesterday, after being told her policies are a failure. . ADF slammed her migration policy.
Probably the reason why EU have a 'bee in their bonnets' about UK not taking more and them telling us we will have to abide by their rules until we actually leave the EU.

Followed on by speeches about the Islamist 'veil'. The last guy who speaks has a striking resemblance to how Hitler used to address people !

Re: what the news today and

Other countries were against Britain leaving the EU but ,because we are still going to leave, now Germany and probably a few other countries are starting to realize that our vote was not about money....it was about this country having the right to make it's own decisions.
Poorer EU members were hoping to become better off, from joining, but they will find that a lot of them will need to contribute more when the wealthier countries start to consider leaving.
Today the EU is nothing like the Common Market, that many Britains were happy to join, because the Common market was about foreign trading... not controlling all the countries under the same rules. That is the EU's intention
