Despicable of Corbyn to sacrifice such long standing ideals as caring for the community and social cohesion. He undoubtedly knows that once very close knit communities are being obliterated in areas where immigration has hit the hardest. Areas, such as those in southern England, London in particular, are changing and have changed to such an extent many are feeling ostracised in their own homeland. Schools, housing, surgeries and many other social services are at breaking point having been for a while now. How can he say that this government caused all this? A lack of money? The bloody reason the Cons got in was because of a concern that we were living way beyond our means.

Corbyn damn well knows immigration at the current levels will have a devastating effect on the economy and in particular to our home grown culture.

Trouble is with many Labour politicians (and Labour followers) they are still using the outmoded concepts of communism where everyone should have a place in society, where we should open our arms to all and sundry for the greater good. Trouble is we are opening our arms to unknown quantities and some are very predatorial, even downright dangerous. The future of the UK should not be left in the hands of Labour anymore. Their outmoded ideals will be the ruin of us. There is a huge threat on the horizon and unless something is done about it this country (and others) will be sucker punched to hell and back.

If you notice the most affected areas (those where prices rose the sharpest) are the same areas greatly affected by an influx of people through immigration, whereas the unaffected areas, where immigration hasn't yet become an issue, show no change or even lower prices.

Don't think your area is immune to this though as it is predicted our population could grow to 80 million by 2050 - up from the 64 million we currently have (at current migratory levels). Migrants will have no option to move to other parts of the country other than where they want to live at present - mainly around London.

To be fair London and surrounding areas has always been different to rest of the country, back in the 60s 70s we here got London weighting rates on our wages to help with increased costs of living so close to London. We have under invested in low cost housing and kept down wages and yes immigration has a lot to do with that, but it's not just immigration causing the problems.

A hell of a lot to do with it. They couldn't build houses fast enough even if they had the dosh to do it. No way can they keep up with the demand.

Apparently we are failing to reproduce at sufficient rate to keep the numbers up, see, we should have let the single mums, with multiple kids by a myriad of fathers get on with it.

I don't agree with you. F*** the human race. Lets build loads more robots. Phase out mind-numbing s*** jobs and get rid of the need for more housing. Robots are the answer ...

Nope. Robots will unburden ourselves of the terrible mundane work that's not fit for humans anyway - repetitive, dirty, unpleasant work. The very jobs we need a massive influx of migrants to carry out apparently. They will raise our standard of living immeasurably and solve our present predicament.
