Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

Talking about Ursula reminded me of a Friday night in a job I had, and this is Gods truth, one of the girls was called Ursula Ryan, when the boss came out of the office to hand out the pay packets, yes them was the days when we got the money before the bank got it and started charging you money to 'manage' your money. Anyway I'm rambling off course as usual.
The gaffer never used our first names only the initial, as soon as he got to Ursula he would shout "U. Ryan!"
She didn't mind in the least, she knew he was only taking the p...

Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

As I sat suppin me coffee at 6am today when SP thought I was having a watery scene I suddenly espied [there's a word ya don't here too much these days?] a large wallabie [much smaller than a kanga you appreciate] hopping up the drive nibbling at the grass shoots trying to emerge and grow!

there next to me lying on the pindan soil was the small chin chua who suddenly spotted it and went into stalking mode - occasionally she lost sight of the wally cos they are both the same color as the pindan soil and then spotted it again - then they bloody stupid miniature scottie let out a yelp about nothing and the wally shot into the bush - just a bit of early morning amusement with ya coffee.

by the way Jem - rain predicted for the Melbourne Cup - wanna change ya betting??

Aww it must be bliss Gummy.
How is your knee?
Are you sealing everyfink with a limp?
Or a kiss?
I posted a photo of my deserted beach on here today. You will need to look back.
It is mild here, but deserted.
Well apart from a few surfers.
