Re: Over 50's Wales club (Part 3)

You would have been welcome at the table Jac - one more or less doesn't make much difference! Meal went off well - BUT - I'm not sure that Jamie will ever forgive me - forgot to cook the Yorkshire puds! They are still in the freezer!! We played Trionimoes after we'd cleared the table and then taught the little boys to play Pontoon (with counters, not money). Good for their maths.

Lovely morning here, but very very cold and frosty. Leftovers today.

Forgot to tell you the fire alarm went off last night and I had to go do my Firewoman act . It was a false alarm, my next-door neighbour had badly burned her cooking but was too embarrassed to come and let us know . I had half a dozen folk who responded running around like headless chickens lol
Strangely enough our alarm also went off last night, someone forgot their cooking was on or something. But the really strange thing is just as I was reading your post, the flipping alarm has gone off again as I type.???? Go figure

Just an addendum to my above. It is the same old fella from last night who appears to have burnt his lunch this time. Time he had a cook I think
