Favourite Flower (Wildflower or otherwise!)

My fave British Wildflowers are Cornflower and English Bluebells...!

My favourite flower is the hardy geranium, or cranesbill, which grows wild in UK. There are so many cultivated varieties to choose from and they are almost impossible to kill. My OH disparagingly refers to them as "weeds" but they give the most lovely display and are truly hardy.

Oh, I like them! They cost a fortune here to buy. Johnson's Blue is quite nice!

1st - The deep purple Iris

2nd - Lilly of the Valley

3rd - The Trillium (Ontario's Emblem)

I also love feeding and attracting birds and Goldfields, Cosmos, Cornflower, Native Sunflower are just some very beautiful flowers that provide a bounty of seed for Goldfinches and other seed predators... as well as food for pollinators!
