More money than morals?

I saw a picture of a 'Celeb' a couple of days ago, walking along swinging a crocodile handbag.
Today I read that Victoria Beckham is reported to own more than 100 Hermes Birkin handbags, some of which are crocodile skin and START at £25,000.

Apparently PETA probed into this business and discovered these animals frequently have their heads cut off whilst still alive, or, equally gruesome, they have their spines severed - also whilst still alive.

All so that 'Posh' and others like her can have their latest 'Must Have' bags.

Barbaric! we have enough know how to make really good looking fake goods, there's no need to kill crocodiles or any other animal for its skin. Makes me shudder.
Can't imagine having a wardrobe full of bags made from animal skin! Just no need, Victoria Beckham should set an example...

Pity they are not publicly 'shamed' like they often do if someone wears a real fur coat nowadays.

Yes I know Markey, but that don't make it right.
If a creature dies of other causes it is more acceptable to use it for things I suppose, but to kill a healthy animal purely for fashion is very morally wrong to me. Like killing all those beautiful elephants just for their tusks.
It's also the utterly barbaric way its done that makes me sick.

Not a fan of these celebs but many of them have no idea the cruelty used to obtain the skins etc, they buy them because they are available, it's the manufacturers who are really at fault IMO
