Right! I hope they allow you to put more money in PBs soon, it is only £50K at present.

I get that but not sure why?

I was only stating that I wished that you could hold more than £50K in PBs as mine are doing much better than the interest I get on my savings accounts.

Some might consider that your letting it be known on a public forum that you had this amount of money was flaunting your wealth...so they joked about all the money hidden under the mattress and not knowing what to do with it...

Just tell them to dig it all out from under the mattress and buy Premium Bonds with it!!
