Yes, it brought back memories of the olden days for me too, although I don't remember there being any girls where I lived and played, except for in school of course!
Come to think of it, there was Diane Slingsby. I suppose you'd call her an 'organiser'. I thought she was a busybody. I liked her, though.
I bet we could all tell stories of our childhoods, although I'm afraid mine would pale into insignificance next to yours.
