We downsized three years ago from a large three bed roomed with two bathrooms and huge gardens with a lovely pond in the rear garden. The entire lot got too much for both of us to handle so we move to a smaller place. We had lived there for 43 years and since the grandchildren have grown up we were rattling around in the place. Never had one single regret, we love it here.

Would never downsize, love this old house , 200 years old, plenty of rooms nice walled garden, close to all amenties , so don"t have to get car out.
Staying put TBH, as we just love it here.

Very hard to get out a sitting tenant< all they have to say they have no where to go and the court rules in their favour to stay. That is why I sold a house left to me in Cornwall

We downsized from three bedrooms to two 12yrs ago. I wish we still had three bedrooms but the move was to be nearer to shops Dr's Dentists etc. All within walking distance and bungalow prices for three bedrooms were much more expensive . There comes a time when you don't want to live somewhere with unreliable bus services. You may not always be able to drive.
