That's just so wrong. We, the public have a right to know, or is it something to do with the cliff Richard case, something like they can't report whilst under investigation, only can once convicted? I dunno but it can be kept quiet in parliament the same should apply for every case under investigation

The beginnings of an investigation are understandable, but once there is enough information for a trial or charges to be filed, then there should be full transparency.Only a fool would believe that the behavior and ethics, or lack thereof, of the man/woman behind the scene can be separated from his or her decision-making on the job. (As an American, don't I know it!)
If this has to do with Cliff Richard, then are we to believe that MPs are now self-identifying as entertainers with the accompanying disregard for the offices in which they serve?
The fourth estate will chime in on this, but they might well be reminded that their job is to report the news - not create it.
