Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Just had cheese on brown bread toast for lunch.

This evening will be a full roast turkey supper. Turkey was cooked yesterday, and I spent this morning preparing the sausagemeat and stuffing, the potato, sweet potato, parsnip, kohl rabi, and carrot and leek. Have some alcohol free wine chilling in the fridge.

Might have mandarins and cream afterwards.

All I have in the house is some spuds, bread and frozen veg.

I really meant to nip into the supermarket on my way home last night but they shut before midnight ... darn !

Hmmmmm ...

Just had a sarnie for lunch. OH was given a free range chicken which has been in brine overnight. I'll cook it with broad beans , carrots and roast tatties.

Blimey, seems like a snack compared to what I'm cooking tonight!
