I've opened my curtains and toast with raspberry jam will be my breakfast.
By the 'eck - you live well at your house.

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

I'm fine, Sweetie, thank you for asking.

I didn't get any biopsy result yesterday but met a wonderful resource. They welcome you with tea and biscuits (all home made) and encourage people to talk about their feelings both before and after anything major like appointments/decisions or just act like a sounding board for people like me.

I saw them both before and after my appointment yesterday. I still have another 6 days to wait now, but both the nurse and consultant were happy with my looking after myself since discharge. I feel energised for going in next week.

And I met my older friend in his hospital room - he's glad of my visits and his company is interesting.

So, I'm really in the best possible place - my steroids reduce sharply now (which should cure my overeating, although about half of that I put down to nerves and needing to keep busy doing something).

Listening to my favourite Dylan at 7:30 on a Friday makes me happy, too.

Oh, I'll miss my hospital fish and chip lunch - can't have everything!

Re: I've had my chest x-ray

The doctor's secretary phoned and they now want to see me on Monday at noon as opposed to Thursday.

This means they have discovered something - hoping it's Lymphoma again as I would gladly take some more chemo.

I'm feeling pretty relaxed about it.

That is something at least.
My hopes and prayers are with you Dreamy.
Difficult for me to post on this phone, but I came to support you.
Sending sunshine smiles.

Gratefully received. Yes, phones are much harder to post on, especially when that's all you've got for 10 days.

It's good you're taking a watchful eye whilst still having a deserved break.

I was worried about you, so I decided to continue posting, whilst also chilling.
