Getting ready..

I had a good morning sorting my plantpots out. Pity it started to rain. The rest will have to wait now ... Can't wait to fill them with lovely red, white & pink geraniums..

I have 36 plug plants growing really well - think I might need a few more pots...

Re: Getting ready..

I've already planted baskets and window boxes, early I know but I got the hanging basket packs from ALDI and the weather is so good so I planted them up, I've never used their plants before so I hope they are OK they look to be coming on just fine

Lovely flowering cherry tree by the way

Looks great Carol.

Is that tree a Mallus or a Prunus?

Saw some geraniums at the garden centre yesterday and the leaves smell just like Coca Cola.

I've no idea LD. .. What are Mallus & Prunus?

To me it's just a cherry tree.

I live & learn!

Thanks for the kind remarks everybody.

I got all the plug plants planted out today and also went round all my pots (about 30 or more) mixing Osmocote control release plant food into the compost. Hopefully they won't have to be fed again now all summer!

I did some weeding and scrubbed the patio furniture ready for a coat of metal paint.

Phew I had a really good day. Tomorrows jobs include scrubbing the patio & garden path. Hope it stays fine..

Pretty garden, Carol, lovely to see a bit of colour isn't it.

Are they your poultry in the run?
