Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Have removed chicken breast from freezer (it's now quietly defrosting), later on will peel and chop appropriate veg and place chicken and veg in oven and make some gravy to accompany it all.

Not feeling the best today so will have boiled eggs and toast I think. Grace is out at a friends for pizza and Nathan is bringing home fish and chips for him and Steven. So not too much cooking for me today.

Bought a sarnie (reduced in price of course)

Nah ... not wearing my specs, but it was a bargain

Doing toasties for lunch today, it's that sort of weather. Tuna and cheese for meat eaters and cheese and mushroom for me.

Got a fruit tea cake each too.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

We're having a family lunch today in celebration of Mrs Malcolm's birthday tomorrow...homemade tomato and garlic soup and roast beef sandwiches plus every kind of party food and salads you can imagine.
I have been up and cooking in the kitchen since 5am !!
but......it's a labour of love
