Fitbit

After some weeks of inactivity, I want to get out a bit today and test out my Fitbit (bought 2 months ago with good intentions, but it's been in a drawer).

Re: Fitbit

Yes, they're pretty good: 4 days battery life, smartphone notifications, alarms, timer - not as good as an Apple Watch and the myriad functions that they can do; they are cheaper, though and Fitbit makes a good tracker. I feel guilty even though I've been ill I used to do around 12 to 15000 steps a day.

You needn't spend so much for a simple tracker, though, I still haven't worked out how to add music to my Ionic but then I also own an Apple Watch - call me crazy but I like technology.

I sometimes count my steps on my husbands apple iphone .
I aim for 10,000 a day but haven't managed this for a while now .

Good stuff Ffosse, why don't you post your daily results on the 'Post Your Daily Exercise Routine' in the Exercise and Fitness thread, It would make interesting reading...

I'm still using an egg timer as a stopwatch for running....Although I'm that slow these days, I perhaps should start using a sundial instead....

Lol, I didn't get out yesterday, still snowmageddon outside, but I plan on using this tracker soon.

I've been the same Ffosse, with this bad back I've been carrying round for the last few weeks I daren't take the risk of slipping on the ice and snow. We've got plenty of rain this morning and it's washing all the snow away, so fingers crossed I might be able to get out for a mile or two later...
