Will Jeremy Corbyn Soon Be Gone?

One of James O'Brien's favourite columnists, Peter Oborne, thinks he will. Even though he has defended Corbyn in the past.

I would be surprised if Corbyn will be 'gone soon' puppetmasters Lansman, Milne and 'Momentum' have worked hard to get him in place and won't want there work to go to wase without a behind the scenes fight.

Re: Will Jeremy Corbyn Soon Be Gone?

Hi

Many ordinary people are quite simply fed up with the Tories.

Locally the NHS is a disaster, longest waiting times in England for A&E, cancelled appointments. Midwifery Units closed and many medical mistakes.

The roads are a disaster, bus services being withdrawn, services closed.

The only way of protesting at the next election will be to vote Labour.

May simply has not delivered on her promise to look after ordinary people.

She had her majority slashed at the last Election, the way things are going she will lose the next one.

Re: Will Jeremy Corbyn Soon Be Gone?

I think Corbyn will be gone when Momentum decide he is no longer useful to them.

As for the Conservatives, on a more positive note, it's been a very difficult time for them but I think they're doing a reasonable job under the circumstances, particularly following on after the last eight years of austerity. No party gets everything right all the time and they have made mistakes.

You can't repair roads, give extra funding to hospitals, education etc when there's no money left in the bank. All that, plus Brexit and the difficult attitude of Europe to contend with hasn't made it any easier. Nor is it helped by the destructive attitude of the Labour Party in opposing everything that is put forward good or bad just because it comes from the Conservatives

As people of often remarked on here you have to live within your means and if that means a few potholes in the roads then so be it. Live with it.

It is early days but from the announcements made over the last week or so they seem to be getting some things right.

The sooner that awful man goes the better. The worse Labour leader ever in my opinion and hopefully he takes that Diane Abbot with him what a pair!

I Agree Rainmaker, I am not a natural Tory voter but think they are doing the best they can with a set of difficult circumstances and I can't see anyone who would do any better at this time certainly not Corbyn .

Unless, of course, those voters remember the years of strikes, and other very depressing happenings, which were commonplace back in the day.

Will they remember the years of the Nationalised industries, run like our current NHS, in which some had 3 times as many employees as were practical and affordable?

Will the public actually believe that trains ran on time, back then?

It's time for the government to be wheeling out newsreels from that time.

It's not about the Tories, as much as Labour supporters would like to deflect the issue.

Anti-Semitism on the Left isn't new, Richard Littlejohn did a documentary on it eleven years ago for Ch4.

The increase in anti-Semitism will help cement the Labour Party's Muslim monolithic support.

You surprise me Swimmy, it is that short sightedness and small world view that will get us back into the same financial hole that the conservatives are still trying to get us out of from last time Labour governed, so surely the last thing that the country needs is more of the same.
