Kitchen Conflicts and Pacemakers.

I get a copy of HeartMatters from the British Heart Foundation, several times a year. Just reading their latest for Spring 2018....... (page 15, if you get it), and there's a short story about pacemakers. It says anything that produces a strong electromagnetic field can interfere with your pacemaker, example. If you have an induction hob on your cooker, try to keep a distance of 2' from it. Other devices which may include a magnet are: hairdryers; older shavers; large stereos, and electric toothbrush chargers. Things you should avoid completley: abdominal stimulators; electronic body fat scales; magnetic mattress pads & pillows, and welding equipment.

Yes Sam, I had read elsewhere about possible interference to pacemakers from 'Induction Hobs' I'm planning on installing an Induction Hob in the next month or two, but I haven't got a pacemaker.... yet....

Gosh Sam, who'd have thought that.
Makes me wonder about men who keep their mobile in a breast pocket too!
I have read that mobiles in trouser pockets can make men sterile, so imagine in a top pocket!
