Re: Generation Game

Wouldn’t watch two seconds of that awful pair. Larry Grayson made me laugh when he was presenting it,and of course Brucie.

Re: Generation Game

Mel and Sue used to have a day time programme many years ago which they were very good at presenting - cant mind what it was called or what channel

Sue is good on the radio

Mel has presented some pretty good programmes herself

But why do TV producers insist on trying to find them a programme where they have to be a comedy duo - its not working

Re: Generation Game

I'm not to sure why so many people have turned against this show - other than the old, fings aint wat they used to be outlook.

But I've long thought it is a "good role model" for kids i.e have a go at doing things with a confidence and verve.

It's little different from what it always was.

Yes but that was back in the 70's and Bruce didn't wear safety goggles and a Hi Viz jacket. Pathetic!

Re: Generation Game

As this programme got a really bad ‘crit’ and had lost over two million viewers after just two showings, l decided to download it and watch it.
My verdict... Chronic!

l found those two annoying presenters so condescending. They weren’t even funny and calling everyone, ‘My love’!

As for some of the contestants? Didn’t they have a big opinion of themselves? They did things wrongly to try and be funny! Not!

Is it any wonder, the BBC are not showing the two remaining episodes?!

Re: Generation Game

For some reason, the BBC like to bring back once successful programmes then kill them stone dead.
