The Israelis did what any country would do to defend their citizens .
The ' Palestinians ' who sat in Gaza ( the bit they own ) were not on a peaceful demonstration.
They were rolling blazing tyres and lobbing petrol bombs over the border strip.
If they want to commit suicide by IDF good for them at least they are not taking innocents with them or stabbing old men at bus stops .
These return home demos are orchestrated by their Hamas leaders
( who live in comfort in Quatar or Dubai ) gain nothing but the sympathy of the guillible.
They are not going to return home .
Unless they are over seventy it's never been their home !

You can't criticise a country as it's just a piece of land.

You can only criticise people.

So it comes down to which people you are criticising and whether in doing so you are generalising by criticising a whole group of people or whether you are singling out a group of people of specific race or religion, which is racist or religious hatred.

So you just need to be clear who you are criticising.
