The Queen Mother also had a hip replacement at the same hospital in 1995 aged 95.

Why didn't they just give the old bugger a motorised wheelchair? A lot safer and cheaper I should imagine.

They are taking them from Afghanistan veterans with no legs, so perhaps he will get one of theirs. That way the army vet can stay at home housebound this November watching TV at pompous Phil at the Cenotaph watching from his old wheelchair.

I always wonder why she doesn"t visit her family when they are in hospital, I find it odd TBH
