I hope Gertie is recovering well. Maybe youŽll have to re-think your garden for a while. We got rid of quite a few lovely plants because they were poisonous, Oleander, which is lovely but can be deadly, and quite a few other things. We always check these days if any plant is likely to be harmful to pets. Also anything with thorns and spikes at low levels, not allowed in the garden, too easy for a little dog to run into at face level.

I'm back,
but thanks for missing me. Everything is fine.
I was tired this morning, and overslept.
This made me late, and being as I had to go out, I didn't have time to clock in today, that's all. Been dashing about ever since, hence only just got here.
Gertie seems no worse for her experience last night thank goodness, and is her usual happy and naughty self again.

Good to hear everything is back to 'normal' now.
It makes me glad I'm still without a dog I so desperately want....reading all about your visits to the vet.
There's definitely no way I could afford vets bills.
Maybe I should get a goldfish instead
