Sun finally breaking through here.
Grandchildren coming later for their Thursday chicken dinner.
I'm worried-I'm quite ahead with gifts for that thing that's happening next month!

Re: Over 50s Club Wales Part 2

I had a bitter blow re:- Christmas pressies, have always bought gifts for the family but thought that this year Tom (now nearly 19 ) would prefer some money. I had a surprise visit from him this morning, chatting together about the big event and mentioned my plan. His face dropped and he said " I've always loved opening your parcels, so back to the drawing board.

Plenty of easy choices to be made for my granddaughter she has had an offer on a house a 10 minute walk from me accepted, so if all goes ahead, anything and everything household will be welcomed. Daughter and son in law already sorted, money to the family in Canada, so just a few small things for friends and I'll be done.

Lovely morning here, window cleaner has just done finished, so hope the rain keeps away.

Off to the post office and chemist now
