You know you shouldn't ...but you just can't resist..

Lardy Cake fresh from the bakers. I nibble bits off on the way home and end up with a few crumbs at the bottom of the bag.

What's your weakness .

Potatoes - I love them and tend to put extra on me plate
Then I suffer with that full up feeling which I hate
So, this week I leant me lesson, it was hard but I deliberately put less on me plate - felt better for it too

French stick bread I set off from the supermarket with a whole one and always get home with half of one, can't work out where the other half goes

For me its Bavarian slices, so I avoid the shop.

The occasional fresh cream cake like a meringue but a rare occurrence these days , I don't need all that sugar.

I keep making cream and jam slices using bought puff pastry! They are delicious!
I have made Lardy bread in the past, it was delicious but the amount of lard you have to use put me off!! I also make cinnabuns and Hot Cross buns using my bread maker for the dough!! Ii

I used to make meringues and chocolate eclairs but don't anymore because if made I have to eat them

I have never tried, or even seen, Lardy Cake, but having seen that photo of it, I wouldn't mind giving it a try.
