I assume you mean a one night stand where sexual activity was involved! No, I expect at least a month of friendly chat, dinners out and bottles of wine, before I decide if he is worth it or not!

Dinners out? Bottles of wine? a month? Grief we were poor so could not afford the money nor the time. But to be honest I had very few one night stands,most came back for second helpings.

Quite right ... a girl should. I'm a bag of chips girl meself but a month of chip and steak & kidney pud suppers sounds about right.

Yes of course Art, normally one day stands. Bored married women were so up for it, bet now they would never admit it.
More money they had the better or husbands money, a woman will not get serious with a rich husband in tow.

Never bothered much with clubs and dating, too much competition and messing about with wining and dining.

Still that is all history, but the memories ain't bad

It is odd don't you think that lots of men have one night stands (or days) but the women don't. Someone's fibbing.!

Agree and always thought that. If my experiences were typical and I think it was, then it was just the tip of the iceberg regarding women in the UK indulging in a little extra.
