Re: OFF slimming club---open to everyone.
That's very true, diabetics have to watch their carb intake as well as their sugar intake. My mother was a diabetic and I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant. Here's the thing, though... they told me to avoid all things sugar, but nobody said anything about limiting carbohydrates, so I had a field day with pasta and breads. Back then I didn't know carbohydrates affected blood sugar levels as well. That and just overeating in general can make blood glucose levels rise. I have a monitor that I use to occasionally check my levels. I'm not diabetic, but given the above history, I'm at risk. Which is one of the main reasons for trying to get my weight down to normal.Re: OFF slimming club---open to everyone.
While i was out shopping today, i spotted a new Italian ice cream parlour opposite Superdrug--it certainly was not there last week. I thought it would be rude not to try it out Lol Lol--so went in and had a double scoop---i love ice cream, and it was so delicious. Its the first time that I have strayed so badly in the last 6 months---so I am not too concerned--I will not be doing it again---for one big obvious reason---also it cost me £3.50---i could have bought enough fresh salmon for 3 days for that money !!!Re: OFF slimming club---open to everyone.
