So, he wants to sell it so raised the rents to get them out?

Why didn't he just serve notice that agreements wouldn't be renewed....strange.

Anyway, I was just replying to your post that suggested an unscrupulous landlord had raised the rents by a staggering percentage, or it came over that way.

It's Surrey rents are horrendous throughout the Home Counties
They are horrendous down here too ( wilts)

Not sure if it was way I wrote it or way you read it but we have a misunderstanding tpin.

Original landlord died. New landlord gave her notice to quit so he can sell the flat. All legal.

She had to find a new flat and has been struggling with new rent. New flat not original flat.

Sorry if I wasn't clear at first.
