My ex Lady,Maria, was forced to watch as a very young child her Mother being raped by your Russian Soldiers.

She was Polish, they fought against the Russians.

As a young girl of 16 she was forced to give sexual favours to the Communists to get a job.

The foodbank media coverage is a lot of skulduggery.

It paints the false picture that people are living off foodbanks which is not how they work. You get a finite amount of food, typically food for 1 week or a total number of meals (ranging from 5 to 21) and then that's it.

To get that food in the first place you have to first be referred to the foodbank from one of a number of authoritative places like the council, the various support centres, the NHs and so on.

Foodbanks deal with EMERGENCY situations. They are there to help a person or family get through a TEMPORARY emergency situation such as they are having to wait for their benefits to come through because the computer system is back logged, or it could be that a vulnerable woman has suffered domestic abuse and been thrown out of the house and is now in temporary accommodation for a few days and needs emergency food.

And so on

This foodbank sensationalism keeps cropping up from the feckless Looney Labour morons. It's another dupe, another mislead. Shame on them.

JRM is right to say that it's good to see people give freely to foodbanks to help others in those temporary emergency situations.

It's amazing how many think food banks are there for people who can't be bothered or make a choice between food and a giant tv, couldn't be more wrong but I think they have to so they can sleep at night without bad dreams about these people they see as feckless rather than in need. I despair of this country sometimes, it's not right in a rich country that people are forced into this. I challenge anyone to live on benefit, the real rates not those published in the daily fail that seems obsessed with making people hate.
