Doing Porridge

No, no, no not prison but the soggy stuff in a bowl!

I have just started having porriidge for breakfast on alternate days, after a gap of a couple of months.

Frankly don't feel any benefits - are there?

Thanks

Re: Doing Porridge

Hi Dobra I love porridge and have organic jumbo oats everyday.
I eat it with full cream milk for the fat and don't have anything else to eat until lunch time without feeling hungry .

Porridge is a valuable source of fiber and contains valuable nutrients .
Suggested benefits..

Porridge has always been My choice of breakfast most of My Life,as Meg says You feel full for longer so aren't inclined to snack..It's healthier than most cereals..as long as You don't add loads of sugar.

Me too Julie. I love it but it makes me feel a bit ill for the rest of the day.

Re: Doing Porridge

It's strange how our tastes change. When I was a kid, I absolutely loved Ready Break. I tried it a little while back and found it disgusting. Same goes for Camp coffee.
