Re: Do you shop at Asda?

You are right, I have always understood it has to be sold at the price showing Twink.

Sounds like the twit with the scanner was totally wrong, and needed more staff training.

Re: Do you shop at Asda?

I think all supermarkets have out of date offers and wrongly priced goods and not just supermarkets.

I was at a garden centre with a friend the other day I ordered two coffees and an Egg sandwich.. £12,99 she said... I paid it and thought that's very expensive... checked the bill and it added up correctly it wasn't until I was leaving I saw on a blackboard at the entrance that coffee and a sandwich was £6.99... that meant the second coffee was £6!

Off I went to query it... honest it took ages to get a £3 refund not because they disagreed but because they didn't know how put it through the till ... the computer says noooooo lol

Four staff and 20 minutes later I escaped

Re: Do you shop at Asda?

I was over charged 50p at a Morrisons cafe (not my usual one) as I'd ordered beans on toast, cashier put it through as double egg and she said she couldn't put it down as what I wanted. She told me to sit down and she'd sort it. When my lunch was brought out the lady handed me my 50p.

I query down to the last penny if I can help it! Lol.

My son often shops on line with Asda, he has not had any trouble, but as we dont see the displayed price on shelf he may be overcharged, who knows !

We've no local Asda but aren't supermarkets all the same .
Watching the TV last week there was the same problem as the OP but this time it was Tesco.

Yes it can & does happen in a lot of supermarkets. The staff don't change the prices marked on the shelves. I have picked up on that several times over the years, in several supermarkets.

I've shopped at Asda once, that was enough for me and I've never visited an Asda store since

They built a big one locally but it's not popular, usually more staff than shoppers so great if you don't like crowds. I do wonder why they built it where they did it's very inaccessible.
