MacDonalds Trump

All is well in Scotland Donald has repealed the ban on Haggis, Nicola will be pleased,
Donald Trump may soon be enjoying the culinary tastes of his motherland as the half-century ban on importing Haggis into the US could be over. Haggis-makers are flocking to the news that the Scottish government have reached a “significant milestone” in negotiations to reverse the US ban on what might become one of their most successful exports. Surely the inauguration of half-Scottish Donald will get the deal over the line. This means the savoury pudding of sheep offal encased in intestines could be back the menu at the White House. Putting food on Trump’s table? Hard to stomach for the Nats…

Yeah, we can't buy the stuff here in the states. Not that I'd eat it or anything, LOL

Well, I MAY try it, but I wouldn't buy it myself.

I believe you have to have a permit to eat eat it, you are not allowed to eat it within 50 metres of a child or vulnerable adult, and full hazmat equipment must be worn.

I would be loathe to visit Scotland and not try it - struggling to keep an open mind and not throw-up.

Wifey has made it quite clear that she will not be tempted.

Re: MacDonalds Trump

Well, the reason it was banned in the U.S. is because of the lung. No food for human consumption, whether it comes from outside the country or is made within the country, can contain sheep's lung.

Not sure of the exact reasons for that, or what it is about lung that we're not allowed to legally consume (although I'm sure some sheep farmers make their own without anyone knowing about it) but that's their reason for the ban.

Yep, many people are looking forward to it. I wonder if my son's dad's family is or not. Half of them are Welsh and the other half Scottish.
