Re: How much is it going to cost

Hi

About right.

We have signed up to so many things, never thinking that we would leave.

Boris never let on about these, even though he knew about them.

A lot will depend on how well we do in the negotiations.

Divorces are always costly, such is life,

Hi

Just to wind up JBR and others.

The European Court of Justice reckons it will have the final say on any agreement.

Just a guess here. But as the payments are for ongoing agreements, it will not be a lump sum to be paid in one go.

Re: How much is it going to cost

Surely this is not a forgone conclusion. I would imagine it will be part of negotiations It's a two-way street remember, We have a few bullets of our own if they start to get too bolshy.

Theresa May must hold her resolve. The days when the EU can dictate to and bully us are thankfully coming to an end but they still insist in coming out with their threats.

I would personally tell them to get s.....d, but of course I appreciate diplomacy doesn't work that way.
They're obviously panicking and probably very peeved that their convenient cash cow is soon to be no more. Hence the crybaby threats.

Let's wait and see! Theresa had better not capitulate over this blackmail. I fully expect her to put up a ruddy good fight.

Re: How much is it going to cost

According to reports this is a liability for loans, pensions and other outstanding debts which we need to pay off once we sign the divorce papers. The expectation is that unless there is a transitional deal we will have to pay pretty quickly. The figure is more like £20bn.
