Hello and welcome, Ossian.
I have a good friend from the West coast of Scotland.
She lived in Achnasheen, but has just moved further down to Lanarkshire now.

I know Achnasheen quite well as I holdiay in Torridon each year. I have done some hillwalking around Achnasheen. Quite a change for them moving to Lanarkshire.

Thank you for that, clumsy. Sunny and warm sounds good, but not the gale force winds. We get enough of those where I am, as it is.

Yes, I imagine it is, Ossian.
She loved the countryside where she was, but when she retired she wanted to be not quite so cut off from civilisation as she gets older.
It used to be a 160 mile round trip just to get to her main veterinary centre in Inverness, for a start, let alone GP's and hospitals.
